I decided to go back to my drawn self-portraits and add ink. I wanted to add a smother texture and experiment, and make the drawings more expressionistic.
I enjoyed using the medium ink, it's very a free material yet enables control with a paintbrush. I think the ink worked well creating texture for the hair and wrinkled texture when it began to dry; however I think outlining the face and shadows were made to bold. I think may have also needed more control when doing the eyes/
